First Dave & Buster’s on Treasure Coast is openings its doors very soon

The very first Dave & Buster’s on the Treasure Coast will soon open its doors, and community members are very excited. But it’s not just about the fun and adventure at this arcade. City and county leaders are looking forward to the economic impact that Dave & Buster’s will have on Port St. Lucie. “The first Dave & Buster’s to the Treasure Coast area. I’m sure everybody is excited for that, and we have a lot of neighboring communities. But we’re excited to be an anchor in the Port St. Lucie community,” Leslie Suarez, the general manager at Dave & Buster’s Port St. Lucie, told WPBF 25 News. The 25,000-square-foot arcade at 2270 SW Gatlin Blvd. features over 100 arcade and virtual reality games. “Residents who are looking for things to do have to go down to Palm Beach or South Florida. So, having Dave & Buster’s in our backyard is great for the city in not only creating jobs but also for the residents,” Elijah Wooten, economic development administrator for the city of Port St. Lucie, told WPBF 25 News. This new arcade is part of the city’s master plan for the Tradition Entertainment District. Before its grand opening, 180 new staff members joined the team.”That’s part of the council’s directive… is creating jobs so the residents can live and work in the community,” Wooten said. Leaders said this new location is also a great boost for tourism on the Treasure Coast. “Having another tourism product offering available to our visitors that come to the area is just another great entertainment opportunity for folks to have a great experience while they’re here,” Charlotte Bireley, tourism and marketing director of Visit St. Lucie, told WPBF 25 News.”There will be hotels that they can stay at nearby, as well as our beautiful beaches,” she added. Doors will officially be open next Monday at 10 a.m. There will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony. “Super eager to welcome the first 100 guests to join the building. They’re going to get a free unlimited videogame playing card for non-redemption games,” Suarez said.
