Three people detained in relation to targeted shooting in Florida


The Port St. Lucie Police Department announced Thursday that three people have been detained in relation to a shooting in Port St. Lucie, located on the 11400 block of SW Kingslake Circle.The Port St. Lucie Police Department notes that the victim was airlifted to HCA Lawnwood Hospital, and the incident appears to be targeted at the victim.Get the latest news updates with the WPBF 25 News app. You can download it here.The Police Department said the suspect vehicle that was seen at the scene of the shooting was stopped in Fort Lauderdale by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.Two of the three people remain in Broward Sheriff’s Office custody on unrelated charges. The Port St. Lucie Police Department said it was able to interview the people in the vehicle, and its investigation is active.Wednesday morning, a man was shot while in a driveway at a home located in Tradition. The police department said that the victim was not a Hip-Hop artist whose name was circulating on social media as the victim.
