TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A fourth Florida Buc-ee’s location is a step closer to becoming reality.

The gas station chain submitted plans for its proposed Port St. Lucie store on Tuesday, according to St. Lucie County records.

According to the proposal, Buc-ee’s is aiming to build the gas station “at the southeast corner of Indrio Road and Interstate 95 to take advantage of a prime location in North St. Lucie County.”

The plans will be reviewed by two committees before county commissioners get to weigh in. A St. Lucie County spokesperson told NBC affiliate WPTV the process could take months.

If approved by county officials, the Port St. Lucie location will be the fourth Buc-ee’s to open in Florida. Those looking to get their “Beaver Nuggets” fix can visit the existing St. Augustine and Daytona Beach stores.

A third location was approved along I-75 in northern Marion County. The company says it will be the world’s largest Buc-ee’s location with over 100 gas pumps when it opens next year.
