SHANE CHRIS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. TOMORROW A GREAT DAY TO BE OUT AT THE BALLPARK. WHEN THE FIRST GAMES OF SPRING TRAINING STARTS TOMORROW. BUT AS TRAFFIC ANCHOR YASMINE JULMISSE EXPLAINS, THERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING. WELL, SPRING TRAINING IS SOMETHING WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO, BUT POLICE ARE SENDING A WARNING OUT NOW SO YOU CAN SPEND MORE TIME IN THE STANDS AND NOT IN TRAFFIC. THE PORT SAINT LUCIE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS WARNING RESIDENTS TO PREPARE FOR INCREASED TRAFFIC DUE TO THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING TRAINING ON ALL GAME DAYS, THE DEPARTMENT PLANS TO HAVE ADDITIONAL OFFICERS AT TRAFFIC HOTSPOTS AROUND THE BALLPARK TO HELP DIRECT THE FLOW OF THE TRAFFIC. THEY’LL BE USING DRONES AS WELL TO HELP GET A BETTER VIEW OF THE PROBLEM AREAS, AND THEN THEY’LL SEND MORE OFFICERS THERE. POLICE RECOMMEND FANS HEADING TO THE GAME TO ARRIVE EARLY AND TO BE PATIENT WITH OTHER DRIVERS. ONCE THE GAME IS OVER. AND IF YOU’RE NOT ATTENDING, I SUGGEST YOU AVOID NORTHWEST SAINT LUCIE, WEST BOULEVARD, NORTHWEST PEACOCK BOULEVARD, NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA BOULEVARD, AND NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD.
